Oh My Cat, Here They Come!

Hi Everycat. Penny here.  This is what I have to do ALL THE TIME since our little sweet darlings came to live with us.  Always looking over my shoulder.

This was me BP (before pups). Comfy lounge, comfy me.

What's a cat supposed to do?
I hope they grow up soon.  Sigh.
At least I finally got a chance to speak.
Stella just doesn't shut up.  Sigh.

See ya.  Stay strong felines.

Silly Saturday & a Koala

Hi Everybuddy
Mum and Dad went to Adelaide today to visit Grandma and on the way home they saw a koala.  It isn't common to see them crossing a road.  Its ambled across and climbed a tree so they stopped and took a photo.  Here he is.  Enjoy.

We had fun on the weekend.  Tyler visited everyday while my sisters' were at work.
A triple bitey face.

Have a great weekend everybuddy.

A Table for Mango and I Won a Prize

Hello Everybuddy, today we are sharing our dining room table for your viewing.  Uncle Mango wanted to see whether other people used their tables for eating or for collecting debris important things.  This is ours, but Mum has been on holidays and was clearing out the bookcase.  The bags are full of books that are going to the Op Shop.

If you look carefully on the righthand side, you can see my lizard sister Lenny.  She is a Bearded Dragon and when my angel sister Kara was here, sometimes Lenny would sit on Kara's back for warmth while she was sleeping.

My sister also had to squeeze some space to do her homework.  Note the remote control next to her laptop.  Homework or watching TV?  Hmmm Tess, which one was it?

In other exciting news I won a competition at Wyatt's Birthday County Fair.  Well actually it was Tessa's cakes that won but she said I could take the glory, so hurray.  We received this parcel through the mail, but unfortunately our Australian Quarantine had removed my puppy treats.  We were sad but it is good that they are so vigilant with their work.  Mum said she would get me a special treat to replace it.  To Wyatt and his family, thank you so much.  I had a wonderful time at my first ever County fair.

Woo Hoo

Me and my little brother.

We love to snuggle together.  Uncle Jed and Aunty Abby, we still use and love your blue blankie but someone, and we won't say who, had a little accident on it.
I can't help it Stellie, I'm just a baby.

Have a great day everybuddy and as always,
No Worries, and love, Stella and Rory

STORY TIME and Remembering Oscar

Once upon a time I found a flip flop.  It needed redesigning.  Here Dad, I think this is yours.

Once upon a time there was a sheep.  He needed redesigning.

Once upon a time I found a gardening glove, and of course it needed redesigning.

Once upon a time, I was in the dog house.
No thanks mum, I don't need a tissue.
And we all lived happily ever after.

It is two years ago today, 19 September, that we lost our beautiful boy Oscar.  He was with us for six fun filled years and we treasure his memories every day.

As always, he thought he was a lap dog.  After 15 minutes of sitting on James' lap, James turned to me and said "Mum my legs really really hurt".  He didn't want to tell Oscar he had to get off.

He was an Adelaide Crows fan through and through.

He made a great footrest.
 He gave us love.

 Not much to see here.

 We are family.

 Loved his sister Kara.

Loved by his Mum always, you too little girl.  We miss you both. Always loved, always will be.

Oscar's passing began a two year period of great loss for our family.  Two months after Oscar left for the Rainbow bridge, my dear sweet Mother passed away.  In the next 18 months we also lost our sweet sensitive boy Brucey and our dear old girl Kara.  I will post for Brucey very soon as his anniversay is coming towards us in November.

Recently as you all know we have welcomed Stella and now Rory into our family.  Once again the cycle begins.  A four legged friend to tell your worries to, share the ups and downs, share the fabulous moments only they can bring into our lives.  So to everyone in blogland, give your pets a hug and tell them its from Carol.  As always, I wish you 'No worries' and love, Carol

Wonderful Weekend

Sleeping, but I'll keep my eye on you.

All tuckered out.

The three amigos.

Tug of war.

Kinda squishy in here.

My favourite pillow.

 Friends in the garden.

Walking friends of Mum and Dad.

 A couple of cockatoos.

Have a great weekend everybuddy.

No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Hi from Carol.  Our two pups are doing really well.  Stella and Rory seem to enjoy each other's company, sleep together in the laundry at night and play bitey face and tug of war all the time.  I had forgotten how quickly an extra large pup grows.  He is already about 4 inches taller than Stella and at puppy school Thursday night he weighed 15.8 kg (34.8 pounds) and on Friday night while having a vaccination he weighed in at 16.6 kg (36.5 pounds).  Gulp.  He is an extremely happy, placid and quite lazy boy.  Just the way I like them.  Still let me get through the next 12 months and ask me again how lazy he is!

No worries, love Carol

P.S.  While typing this they had a fight over a sock of all things.  Stella does love her socks that's for sure.  X

Two Pups with two pups

Hello Everybuddy.  Hope your week has been good so far.  We have been ratbags just fabulous for the family.  Since Mum and Dad are having two weeks holiday, Rory and I thought it a good idea to get Mum up a little earlier than usual.  Instead of her 7.00 am slothful start, we decided 6.00 am would be much more preferable.

A little scrabbling and pounding on the laundry door soon gets her springing gracefully out of bed, looking quite glamorous, I must say.  Those old trackie pants and purple dressing gown are a sight first thing in the morning.

Ahhh, breakfast.

I am getting better with not stealing the little squirt's food.  Mum makes me sit and wait till he has finished.  Life is so unfair at times.  I think he needs to watch what he eats because he seems to be getting a little large.  Funny little fella.

Anyway that's it for now.  Mum seems a bit tired.  I don't know why seeing as she is on holidays.

Here is a photo of Rory and I with our brother and sister.  They can pick us up easy as pie.  Rory is 10 weeks old today and weighs 14 kgs (30 pounds) and I am 19 weeks old and weigh 9 kg (19 pounds).  Take care everybuddy.

No worries, and love, Stella and Rory.

Introducing my little brother 'Rory' (aka Mr Plonky)

Hello Everybuddy.  After nearly a week of thinking and umming and aahring our family have decided to name my little brother

Now as you know we are nerds and proud of it, so for all of you Dr Who fans (the recent series) you will know where the name Rory came from.  He already has a nickname from Dad.  He is a little unco-ordinated at this early stage so Dad calls him Mr Plonky.  Mum hopes it doesn't stick!!

I'm sorry but we sleep a lot!

Here is our cousin Tyler keeping an eye on us while we sleep some more.  You have to excuse the dirty glass.  Mum hasn't cleaned off my angel brother Brucey's footprints from the glass door.  She will one day, but just not yet.

Sorry, but more sleeping.

I have found a great use for my little brother's back.  He helps me look on the benchtop.

Well that's all for now.  Say hello Rory.  Hello Everybuddy.  I am Rory or Mr Plonky, I'm not sure.  I just wanted to say .........zzzzzzzzzzzzzz   Sorry everybuddy, there he goes again.  Gee he sleeps a lot.  Well bye for now.  See you all soon.

No worries, and love, Stella and Rory.

OH MY DOG! I am a big sister.

Oh my dog!!!!!!!  On Sunday I became a Big Sister.  Yes that's right folks.  Me, Stella, a big sister.  Now for everybuddy out there who didn't know, my mum and dad love Cocker Spaniels and also Great Danes.  In case you haven't realised Mum is a total animal lover and would probably have one of everything, but that's not possible.

Anyway getting back to my NEW BROTHER, I think he is the cutest thing around, apart from me of course.  Ok, ok, here is a photo for you all to go squeeeeee.

Settle down everybuddy.  I have to say, I have been the perfect sister and my cousin Tyler has been perfect too.  We welcomed him with open paws.

Check out my flying ears.

The only thing I have found is that I don't like him coming near my food bowl and if I eat really quick I always have the urge to run and steal his food.  He runs away when I go Grrrr.  Poor little squirt.  Mums says I must stop being a meanie but where food is concerned I do get pretty hungry especially with all the extra exercise with my brother.

Well that's all for now.  We are pretty busy here.  I'm so glad mum and dad got a puppy brother.  Wasn't it nice of them to get one the same size as me.  I think I will have fun with the squirt.  P.S.  Sometimes he is so tired he sits (and I don't mean squats) when he has a wee.  Its soooo funny.   As yet, we haven't named him but as you know, we are the nerdy family, so be prepared for a nerdy name, probably from a nerdy show.

No worries, and love, Stella
Mum here, Stella and Tyler have really been wonderful in the last 36 hours.  She has the advantage of being more co-ordinated than little fatty but already he has a weight advantage.  So far so good.  Early days.  Will catch up with everyone's blogs soon.
